“Comprehensive dentistry is a total path of evaluating and treating the dental needs of each individual—where lifestyle, esthetic preferences, overall health, habits, financial commitment and age are just a few factors in developing and customizing appropriate options.
My philosophy is to provide a comprehensive treatment plan that is the foundation for optimal long term health and appearance.
In essence, it is stepping back and looking at the big picture and guiding my patients in treatment towards healthy, functional, and natural looking teeth as they progress through life.

Patients often come to me with a particular problem, such as a broken tooth, believing that once that problem is treated everything is fine. And while it is important to treat the immediate problem, it is essential to look for the cause of that problem and how it affects the rest of the teeth. Ideally, we want a solution to the cause of the problem, rather than just treating the symptoms. By approaching treatment in this manner, we can prevent the problem from occurring again.
It takes considerable time to develop ideal treatment plans and review various options with patients. Yet, I believe it is essential that patients understand the diagnosis and treatment options. Total evaluation and planning is the key to my comprehensive dentistry practice.” ~Dr. Kathelene
